RTS nomination 2014

3rd November 2014

Best Animation / Puppetry
Strange Hill High

We were very happy to learn that Strange Hill High has been nominated for a Royal Television Society North West Centre award in the Best Animation / Puppetry category.

The series was created using ‘hypervynorama’, a pioneering new animation technique combining Japanese vinyl toy design and puppetry with stop-motion animation and computer-generated imagery.

To receive a nomination within this category is great news for our talented puppeteers and production team!

Best Children’s Programme

Strange Hill High

We’ve also been nominated in another category at the Royal Television Society North West Centre Awards, once again for the ever-popular Strange Hill High.

Strange Hill High fast became a hit with kids aged 6-12 when it launched back in 2013, and now it’s been nominated in the RTS Best Children’s Programme (School Age) category.

Loved by children and parents alike, the programme combines wit and humour with a youthful sense of fun to make it a series aimed at primary school aged children, but appreciated by viewers of all ages.
