William Shatner narrates Clangers USA

We are delighted to share the news that William Shatner will be joining the Clangers family to ‘captain’ the US version of the show. American pre-school network, Sprout, will air the 52 episodes, currently in production in our studios.

Channel president, Sandy Wax describes Shatner to have a voice that provides “humour and wink” and, of course being set on another planet, it needed a narrator, “that kind of felt comfortable in outer space.”

We have been working hard on this amazing new show and Shatner is joining a phenomenal team that includes UK narrator Michael Palin. We are very excited for everyone to see the finished version when it launches summer 2015!
