Strange Hill High scoops ‘Best Children’s Programme (School Age)’ at the Royal Television Society North West Awards.

Strange Hill High has scooped another accolade, this time for Best Children’s Programme at the prestigious Royal Television Society North West Awards.

Nominated amongst some of the North West’s finest children’s TV programmes like the 4 O’ Clock Club and My Life: One Way Ticket, we’re honoured to see Strange Hill High pick up this award.

A co-production between factory, CBBC and Freemantle FME and created in our studios, the weird and wonderful world of Strange Hill High incorporates a ground breaking animation technique ‘hypervynorama’ that combines Japanese vinyl toy design and stop motion animation.

The series also awards a stellar voice cast, including Caroline Aherne, John Thomson and Richard Ayoade along with Simpson/Futurama creator Josh Weinstein as showrunner.

With another award under its belt, Strange Hill High is fast becoming a number one show with children and parents alike, having recently been nominated for an international Emmy and children’s BAFTA too!
